The Engineering Career Center is here to help engineering students develop their professional skills and to provide opportunities for students, faculty and employers to meet and develop mutually beneficial relationships. Located in Marston 112, we have a dedicated staff to assist both undergraduate and graduate students with a variety of career-related needs.

Developing your professional skills is key to being prepared when opportunities for internships, co-ops, and jobs arise. The Engineering Career Center offers a wide range of resources to help you with resume and cover letter writing, interview tips, networking, developing your social media presence, and deciding between job offers. Check out our Career Development Handbook for Undergraduates and for Graduate Students, or participate in one of our upcoming workshops.
When you are ready to gain relevant engineering experience, participate in upcoming career fairs or corporate recruiting events or check out our job boards for graduate students and for undergraduates, which include internships, co-ops, and full-time positions. The Engineering Career and Student Development Center offers a unique opportunity for organizations to expand their presence on campus, while also contributing to the positive development of potential future employees. The Corporate Partnership Program extends to organizations multiple resources to promote their brand and to engage with students, faculty and the Engineering Career Center staff while on the UMass Amherst campus.
