Focus: Interdisciplinary collaborative research programs in processing, properties or applications of materials, such as inorganic, organic, polymer, colloidal, nanostructured, or composite materials.
The successful applicant will hold a position in the Department of Chemical Engineering. This position is open at the Full Professor or- for exceptional candidates with promise for rapid promotion- at the Associate Professor rank. The applicant's research may be experimental or theoretical in nature and would preferably complement existing departmental and university strengths in materials science and engineering, bioengineering, polymers, catalysis, modeling and simulation, sustainable chemicals, energy engineering, thin film devices or strengths within the Institute for Applied Life Sciences (IALS).
