CATME Team-Maker and Peer Evaluation

Making teams

CATME allows you to create teams that are similar in some aspects, such as having the same preferences/availability for meeting times, while dissimilar in others, such as programming skills, writing skills or team role preferences. With this software, you create a survey to ask students their preferences and skills, you give a priority level for having teams with similarity/dissimilarity on each of those aspects, and it creates teams that optimize those priorities.

Peer evaluation

Once the groupwork is over, you can set up peer evaluation. Students will need to fill out a survey, rating various aspects of their teammates’ and their own contributions to the team. The system analyzes these data and flags individuals and groups with inconsistent metrics.

NOTE: CATME does not link to your LMS system. You need to import the student list as a .cvs file.
