What does Research Development Services (RDS) do?
RDS provides administrative support to Principal Investigators (PIs) in the development of proposals for sponsored research. This is accomplished by developing budgets and justifications, facilitating data entry and document upload, providing timeline and project management, liaising with subrecipients, and ensuring compliance with university, state, and federal guidelines.
Further, RDS will work collaboratively with the PI and OPAS to reconcile any missing information or errors discovered during the internal review process.
For additional information, or to request assistance on a proposal, please visit our Proposal Development Process & Best Practices page.
Finally, we kindly ask that you send your assistance requests through the RDS Assistance Request Form. This inbox is actively monitored by the entire RDS team. As such, please refrain from emailing requests directly to the administrators.
